• Maintenance treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
• Maintenance treatment of asthma in patients aged 18 years and older.

Not suitable for relief of acute bronchospasm.

✔️ Pharmacology

This inhalation powder contains a combination of fluticasone furoate (a corticosteroid), umeclidinium (an anticholinergic), and vilanterol (a long-acting beta-agonist, or LABA). Vilanterol’s bronchodilatory effect is largely due to stimulation of adenyl cyclase, which increases cyclic AMP, relaxing bronchial muscles and inhibiting hypersensitivity mediators. Fluticasone furoate’s mechanism is not fully understood but reduces inflammation—a key factor in COPD and asthma—by acting on various cell types and mediators involved in inflammatory processes. Umeclidinium, a long-acting muscarinic antagonist, blocks M3 receptors in airway smooth muscle, leading to bronchodilation.

✔️ Dosage & Administration: Trelanti 100 Cozycap

This capsule is for inhalation only and must not be swallowed. Open the capsule only immediately before use with the inhalation device. Rinse mouth with water after inhalation to lower the risk of oropharyngeal candidiasis.

• Adults (18+ years): Use at the same time daily, not more than once every 24 hours. For sudden breathing issues between doses, use an inhaled short-acting beta-agonist (SABA) for immediate relief.
  • COPD Maintenance: 1 inhalation capsule once daily.
  • Asthma Maintenance: 1 inhalation capsule once daily.
• Children & Adolescents: Not recommended; safety and efficacy in individuals under 18 are not established.
• Elderly: No dose adjustment is necessary, but sensitivity in some older patients may vary.
• Renal Impairment: Not studied.
• Hepatic Impairment: Not studied.

Trelanti 100 Cozycap may interact with bronchodilators (e.g., formoterol fumarate, indacaterol, salmeterol, olodaterol, tiotropium, aclidinium, glycopyrronium, umeclidinium), antifungal medications (e.g., voriconazole, ketoconazole, itraconazole), HIV/AIDS treatments (e.g., lopinavir, nelfinavir, ritonavir, indinavir, saquinavir, atazanavir, cobicistat products), antibiotics (e.g., clarithromycin), diuretics, antidepressants, blood pressure medications (e.g., propranolol), and glaucoma medications (e.g., timolol).

✔️ Drug-Disease Interactions:

If you have conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes, thyroid issues, low potassium levels, glaucoma, cataracts, vision changes, prostate or bladder issues, immune system, heart, or liver problems, seizures, thrush or yeast infections, herpes simplex of the eye, tuberculosis, or any viral, bacterial, fungal, or parasitic infections, consult your doctor before using Trelanti 100 Cozycap.

✔️ Precautions & Warnings

If you are allergic to Umeclidinium, Fluticasone furoate, Vilanterol, or any other ingredients in Trelanti 100 Cozycap, inform your doctor. For individuals with severe milk protein or lactose allergies, this medication should be used with caution. Long-term use of Trelanti 100 Cozycap may increase the risk of weakened bones (osteoporosis), leading to a higher likelihood of fractures. To reduce the risk, take extra precautions to prevent injuries and falls. Avoid contact with people who have chickenpox or measles, as Trelanti 100 Cozycap may increase susceptibility to these infections. If you are exposed, consult your doctor immediately. The drug may also cause eye issues; if any eye problems arise, reach out to your doctor, and ensure regular eye exams. Avoid exceeding the prescribed dose to prevent overdose symptoms such as dry mouth, shakiness, blurred vision, headache, or an accelerated heartbeat.
